Guardian Operations Center Spectral Analysis Tool for Radiation Identification
Operations Monitoring Package Maintenance Terminal Application
The Guardian application is an external client of the Maintenance Terminal Server, which handles threat monitoring for the Radiation Threat Identification System (RTIS). The Guardian displays real time alarm and sensor data and nuclide analysis from multiple RTIS-equipped stations. The Guardian connects to the data archive database to display alarm history and generate user specified reports of alarm data.

The Maintenance Terminal Application (MTA) is a subcomponent of the Guardian System handling threat monitoring for the Radiation Threat Identification System (RTIS). The MTA is a very useful tool for monitoring alarm data, nuclide analysis, detector calibration status, state changes, and server health status. The MTA also provides administrative control functions for the RTIS, including display and modification of sensor module and detector properties, and the initiation of detector auto-calibration modes.
The MTA displays:
Ø Threat levels
Ø Active server statistics
Ø Sensor and Sensor group spectral data
Ø Histograms for each class identified by the sensors
Ø System health status
The MTA can also be offered as a stand alone laboratory system - Spectra Lab
The Radiation Verification Engine (RadEng ) is a tool for examining historic spectral data files collected by the Radiation Threat Identification System (RTIS). Using RadEng, you can select specific spectral analysis files and view data images (histograms) and identification information about the material under evaluation. You also can modify thresholds and other parameters, and even use a different algorithm, and then reanalyze the data and view the resulting effects of those changes.
RadEng displays:
Ø List of analyzed gamma and neutron data by sensor group and individual sensor
Ø Results of sensor and sensor group spectral data analysis runs
Ø Histograms for each inspection
Ø Algorithm information
Ø Detailed analysis results
