Innovative American Technologies (IAT) is a privately held corporation with offices in Coconut Creek, Florida. IAT develops and commercializes advanced technologies for homeland security, military, international and commercial applications. IAT technologies include advanced sensor systems for Chemical, Biological Radiation Nuclear and Explosives (CBRNE) detection and identification.

IAT has partnered with Cargotec Inc. a world leader in cargo movement equipment. IAT and Cargotec provide radiation detection and identification systems for port security world-wide. IAT has also partnered with Lockheed Martin for systems integration and deployment of IAT port security products. We have also partnered with Sanmina-SCI, a major manufacturing firm to enable the production of IAT radiation sensor systems. IAT subcontracts US DOE labs to assist in the verification of selected technologies, and has completed two technology transfers for advanced detection capabilities.

IAT has developed an advanced neutron detector system for use in our CBRNE systems. Current neutron detectors deployed worldwide are predominantly based on helium-3. The US Government has recognized that helium-3 is a limited resource and a helium-3 replacement strategy is underway. The IAT advanced neutron detector system is a proven product for helium-3 replacement.

IAT technologies also include renewable energy systems such as hydrogen production from algae.
