Innovative American Technology (IAT) is a privately held corporation with offices in Coconut Creek, Florida. IAT develops, commercializes and manufactures advanced technologies for homeland security, military, international and commercial applications. IAT technologies include advanced sensor systems for Chemical, Biological Radiation Nuclear and Explosives (CBRNE) detection and identification. The company has developed a broad range of technologies and patent rights in the CBRNE field.

IAT has developed an advanced neutron detector system for use in our CBRNE systems. Current neutron detectors deployed worldwide are predominantly based on helium-3. The US Government has recognized that helium-3 is a limited resource and a helium-3 replacement strategy is underway. The IAT advanced neutron detector system is a proven and mature product for helium-3 replacement.

IAT offers a variety of radiation detection systems for cargo inspection incuding mobile systems and digital radiation portal monitors  and has partnered with Cargotec Port Security to provide radiation detection equipment for crane based systems.
