The Cargotec Port Security, LLC spreader bar radiation verification system, which features Innovative American Technology detection technology mounted on a Bromma ship-to-shore gantry crane spreader, has received QATT Qualified Anti-Terrorism Technology Designation from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

The system scans cargo and detects gamma, neutron and x-ray radiation. Technology also includes network consulting, site planning, system integration, software upgrades, configuration, and installation services.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security designation period at present extends through June 30, 2013.
