RTIS Systems for Commercial Applications
The Radiation Threat Identification System (RTIS) was designed as a platform to enable multiple products and applications to more effectively detect and prevent radiological attacks on the US. The U.S. Federal Government requires a technology that enables security solutions, which detect illicit nuclear materials and radiological sources. The two primary targets are special nuclear material (SNM) used in the creation of atomic weapons and radioactive dispersal devices (RDDs) that use large commercial radioactive sources coupled with a high explosive to provide a non-nuclear blast, leaving significant radioactive contamination.
MRVS - RTIS Platform Awarded DHS Qualified Anti-Terrorist Technology Designation (QATT).
The MRVS deploys radiation and fissile material sensors and radiation directional finders on mobile platforms such as a vessel or a vehicle. The MRVS provides an ability to identify and analyze small vessels and protect outlying perimeters. radiation directional finders onto a vessel or a vehicle. The MRVS can be combined with GPS and Radar systems as it identifies the heading of detected radiological or fissile materials provides isotope identification. Multiple fixed or mobile radiation directional finders can be used for triangulation and positioning of the source materials.
RDF Net - RTIS Platform Awarded DHS Qualified Anti-Terrorist Technology Designation (QATT).
The MRVS deploys radiation and fissile material sensors onto a vessel or vehicle that can scan rows of containers stacked up to four high. The SCRVS provides 100% verification of the containers in a stack at a port for hazardous radiological materials. The SCRVS verifies the shipping containers without impacting the flow of commerce and with minimal false positives / false negatives.
